i’m new

Welcome to View Church!

Thanks for considering a visit – or if you’ve already attended, thanks for taking the next step!

Everything we do and hope to accomplish as a church is summarized in one statement: Through a lifestyle of Worship and Obedience, we exist to make and to deploy disciples who glorify the Father.

We want people to know Jesus, to become more and more like Jesus, and to lead others to know and follow Jesus.

We’re glad you’re here, and we look forward to seeing you soon.

How Do I Meet People?

View Church is not a place for spectators. It is a place for team members. Whether you are a five-year old child, a ninety-five year old grandmother, a busy mom, or a businessman with big responsibilities, we want you to be a part of this vibrant church community. Here is how you can learn, serve, and grow at this church.

A Place for Every Member of Your Family
At View Church, we have services specially designed for children and students of all ages.  While adults attend the main service, our family ministries team works together to ensure children are loved, cared for and taught about Jesus.
Dress Comfortably
We are a casual church where jeans are acceptable.  You’ll also see some ties and suits.  But come how you feel most comfortable.
Follow the Signs
Our signage will direct you to our Guest Parking and our Front Line Team will be glad to show you the way to the Worship Center and class rooms.
Check Out Family Ministries
If you are coming with children, we offer age-appropriate teaching for children of all ages.

Connection Groups

Connection Groups meet each week. Each group is typically made up of people who have similar interests. Each group will have between 4 and 14 people. The group will meet for a time of study of the Bible, usually around 90 minutes. Groups meet on Sunday or at various other times during the week. The groups will meet in a home or will meet on Sunday night at View Church. The group may decide to share in the preparation and bringing of a meal each week. Several groups will opt to have a dessert and coffee only. As you can see, there is great flexibility in a Connection Group. If you are interested in joining a connection group, stop by the Connecting Point room in the foyer or contact Tyler Estes (tylerestesmvbc@gmail.com).

Children’s Ministry

Each Sunday morning, children get to participate in their own classes. Bible lessons are taught in such a way that every child gets to participate and learn. Each of the class teachers is carefully screened and thoroughly trained in children’s instruction. The children’s ministry of our church is recognized for their meaningful interaction with kids. Children’s Church (K5 through 3rd grades) takes place at 8:30 and at 11 am in the building behind the main building. Contact Tracy Freeman (TFreemanmvbc@gmail.com) for more information.

Student Ministry

There are more challenges for students today than perhaps at any time in history. Our student ministry seeks to prepare each teen with a Biblical world view and to help them to stand up and be strong in their faith. Contact Tyler Estes for more information.

College and Young Adults

Life can get complicated once you cross that nebulous threshold into adulthood. There are complicated decisions. Bigger stakes. Serious relationships. And a whole lot more decisions. The young adult group of our church provides a welcoming atmosphere for college and early-career aged young people

Women’s Ministry

The Women’s Ministry of View Church is active and growing! Each month, our ladies meet for a prayer gathering (2nd Mondays) and for a time of Bible Study (3rd Mondays). Right now, the women are in a study called “Armor of God” with Priscilla Shirer.

Love to sing or play an instrument? Our choir, praise team and orchestra may be just the outlet you’re looking for! Practice is each Wednesday  – band at 6:30 and singers at 7:15. Talk to Zach Rogers if you’re interested! ZRogersmvbc@gmail.com

Married Couples

Even though marriage is one of the most important institutions, it is the one which is under the most attack–internally and externally. We have a Connection Group for couples who are struggling, or just want to be better. Several Sunday School classes offer married couples curriculum that helps with parenting and some offer in-depth Bible studies.

Over 50’s

Once you get past fifty, the fun has just begun. Whether retired, just plain tired, or more active than ever, our T-N-T group (Tried and True) the over-50 group of View Church provides refreshment through a weekly Bible study, trips, and times of valuable interaction. Contact Ken Mayfield (KMayfieldmvbc@gmail.com) for details.

When you enter the larger church parking lot (on the left of the buildings if you’re facing them), Guest Parking is immediately on your right. On Sunday mornings, a Frontline Team Member will be be in the front of the Worship Center. They can direct you to the Children’s area, Sunday school or to the Worship Center.
What is there for my kids?
We have a great place for Kids!  A place where where kids are safe, planted, take root, grow and bear fruit. As kids grow up, our goal is that they will be Committed to God, Obedient to the Word, Rooted in Christ, and Equipped to serve Him. Our strategy is to strengthen their CORE. We then offer a four-week membership class with lots of information and can help you move into an area where you can serve.
