1-26-2026 | Faith Sees Beyond the Natural
“For we walk by faith... not by sight” - 2 Corinthians 5:7
“Now faith is the substance of things hoped for... the evidence of things not seen” - Hebrews 11:1
There are moments when everything around you speaks a loud... convincing language… lack... delay... weakness... loss... impossibility.
The natural world is persuasive.... It tells you... “This is all there is.... This is all it will ever be”....
But faith is the God-given ability to see past what your eyes report and trust what God has already spoken....
“Faith doesn’t deny reality… it refuses to let reality have the final word.”
When Jesus stood at Lazarus’ tomb... the natural evidence was overwhelming… death had settled in... time had passed... hope seemed foolish.... Yet Jesus lifted His eyes beyond what was natural and spoke life where decay had been....
“That’s what faith does.... It doesn’t camp at the grave... it listens for the voice of God…. Faith sees beyond the natural because it’s anchored in the unseen realm where God rules.”
- The natural may show you the storm... but faith sees the Savior walking on the water....
- The natural may show you empty nets... but faith hears Jesus say... “Cast it again”....
- The natural may show you a closed door... but faith believes God still holds the keys....
“Sometimes the greatest battle isn’t the situation… it’s what the situation is trying to convince you to believe about God.”
Faith pushes back and says... “God is still good.... God is still able.... God is still present”.
“If you only trust God when the outcome is visible... you don’t need faith… you just need confirmation.... But faith is strongest when it must lean on God’s character more than it can lean on circumstances.... So today... let your faith speak louder than your feelings.... Let God’s promise be bigger than your problem.... Ask the Lord to adjust your vision… not to see less of your situation... but to see more of Him.”
