1-31 & 2-1-2026 | Prayer and Meditation

Hebrews 11:6… reminds me that faith isn’t vague optimism… it’s a relationship response…. I come to God believing two things… He is (He’s real and near)… and He rewards (He’s good and faithful to meet seekers)…. The “reward” is often more than an answered request… it’s the gift of finding God Himself…. His peace.. His direction.. His strength.. His joy… Today… I can practice “earnest seeking” in one simple way… before I reach for control.. distraction.. or worry… I reach for God…. Faith is choosing to come closer. 

Prayer:   Father God…. Thank You for inviting me to draw near to You... Today I choose to believe… not just that You exist… but that You are good.. present.. and personally involved in my life…. Forgive me for the moments I drift into doubt.. self-reliance.. or spiritual laziness… Stir up faith in my heart that moves me toward You.. not away from You.  Teach me to seek You with sincerity… not as a last resort.. but as my first love…. Give me a steadfast spirit that keeps coming back to You in prayer.. in Your Word.. and in obedience.. even when I don’t see immediate results…. And as I seek You.. help me trust Your promise… that You reward those who earnestly seek You… not always with what I expect.. but with what is truly best…. I come to You now with an open heart…. Strengthen my faith... Grow my desire for You… Let my life please You today…
