3-10-2026 | Expectation Sees Beyond the Present

Published March 10, 2026

“Now faith is the substance of things hoped for... the evidence of things not seen....” -(Hebrews 11:1)

There’s a difference between wishing and expecting....

Wishing says... “Maybe something good will happen.”

Expectation says... “God is already at work…. even if I can’t see it yet.”

Expectation isn’t denial of reality... it’s a decision about what reality means....

The present might be tight.... The report might be discouraging.... The door might look closed.... But expectation looks at the same moment and says... “This is not the final chapter....” It sees beyond what’s in front of it and anchors the heart to what God has promised....

The enemy loves to trap us in the “right now....” He whispers….  This is how it will always be.... But godly expectation breaks that lie.... It reminds your soul that seasons change... prayers accumulate... and God specializes in hidden beginnings.... Seeds look like burial until expectation recognizes them as planting....

“Sometimes the most spiritual thing you can do is keep your eyes lifted.... Not because you’re pretending everything is fine…. but because you believe God is faithful.”

Expectation doesn’t come from perfect circumstances... it comes from knowing the One who holds tomorrow.... If you’re in a waiting place today... don’t just endure it…. expect in it….

“Expectation sees beyond the present and makes room in the heart for God’s “suddenly”.
