(Ephesians 3:20)
Ephesians 3:20 reminds me that God’s power isn’t limited by my imagination... my resources.. or my track record.... I often pray according to what feels realistic.. what I can manage.. what seems possible.. what won’t disappoint me if it doesn’t happen.... But this verse pulls my faith upward... God is able.... Not barely able... Not occasionally able.... Able to do far more than I ask or even think.
And the most comforting part is where that power works... within us. God’s strength isn’t just around me... it’s at work in me. When I’m weak.. tired.. uncertain.. or afraid.... His power is not paused.... He is still building, healing, guiding, and transforming.... often in ways I can’t see yet.... My job is not to shrink my prayers to match my strength... but to bring my whole heart to the One whose strength never runs out.
Prayer:
God.... You are able to do exceedingly, abundantly above all I ask or imagine.... Forgive me for praying small prayers shaped by fear, disappointment, or what seems possible.... Awaken my faith again..... Let Your power work in me... renew my mind, strengthen my spirit, and make my heart steady in trust.... Teach me to ask boldly and surrender deeply.... I bring You my needs, my hopes, and even the things I can’t put into words.... Do more than I can imagine... not just around me, but within me..... And whatever You choose to do... help me to give You glory with a grateful... obedient life.... In Jesus’ name... amen.
