3-26-2026 | Witnessing Has Eternal Impact
“Many of the Samaritans from that town believed in him because of the woman’s testimony…” - John 4:39.
There are moments when we assume our story is too messy... too ordinary... or too incomplete to matter.
But in John 4... Jesus chooses a Samaritan woman... someone society overlooked and questioned... to become a messenger that changes an entire town.
Notice what the verse says…. many believed because of her testimony.... Not because she had perfect theology.... Not because she had a platform.... Not because she had her whole life figured out.... She simply told what she knew…. She met Jesus... and He told her the truth... and gave her hope.
That’s the secret of witnessing… it isn’t about winning arguments... it’s about sharing encounters.... A testimony is a bridge... moving someone from curiosity to consideration... from skepticism to a first step toward faith....
“God often uses one conversation... one invitation... one honest story to begin a chain reaction that lasts forever.”
And here’s the eternal part…. you rarely get to see the full ripple effect....
The woman in Samaria likely didn’t realize the depth of what was happening when she spoke up.... But heaven did.... Every life touched... every heart opened... every future choice redirected... started with a witness willing to speak.
Your witness may be a sentence....
A prayer offered at the right time....
A kindness that makes someone ask “why”….
An invitation to church....
A moment of courage to say... “Jesus is real to me”….
“God can take what feels small in your hands and make it significant in eternity.... So don’t underestimate what God can do through your “come and see....”
