4-15-2026 | Calmed or Carried.... His Love Remains the Same

“And He said to them, ‘Why are you so afraid? Do you still have no faith?’”… Then He got up, rebuked the wind and said to the waves, ‘Peace! Be still!’ Then the wind died down and it was completely calm.” – Mark 4:39–40

There are times in life when we cry out for God to calm the storm around us.. to take away the chaos.. the pain.. the uncertainty.... Sometimes.. He does exactly that.... The wind ceases.. the waves settle.. and we stand in awe of His power and deliverance.

But other times.. the storm rages on.

In those moments.. God doesn’t always calm the storm.. He calms us in the storm.... He whispers peace into our hearts while the thunder still rolls.... He strengthens our faith when the outcome isn’t clear.... He steadies our trembling hands and reminds us... “I am with you... I have not changed.”

The same God who commands the sea is the One who holds our hearts.... Whether the storm stops or continues.. His love remains the same.... It is constant.. unwavering.. and perfect.

His grace is enough.. not just when the sun shines.. but even when the sky is dark and the waves crash high.
