4-17-2026 | Christ Our Firm Foundation... He Won’t Fail

"For no one can lay any foundation other than the one already laid, which is Jesus Christ." - 1 Corinthians 3:11

"Therefore everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock. The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house; yet it did not fall, because it had its foundation on the rock." - Matthew 7:24-25

Life often feels like shifting sand... circumstances change.. people disappoint.. and plans fall apart... When storms of doubt.. hardship.. or loss come… it can feel as if everything is crumbling beneath our feet...

But Scripture reminds us that in Christ we have a firm foundation... one that will never crack under pressure... never weaken with time... and never fail us.

Jesus does not simply give us stability...He is our stability... The world may tremble... but those who are rooted in Him can stand secure... His love never falters... His promises never waver... His power never diminishes... The storms may rage... but when Christ is the rock and foundation of our lives... we will not be shaken.

Christ Won’t Fail !!!

Unlike human strength or wisdom... Christ cannot fail... He cannot deny Himself... and He cannot break His Word... Every promise He has spoken is “Yes and Amen” (2 Corinthians 1:20).... His faithfulness is not dependent on our faithfulness... it is His very nature... When we feel weak... He is strong... When we fall... He is steady. When we doubt... He remains true.

In moments where everything else gives way... His presence proves unshakable... He is the Rock of Ages... the same yesterday.. today.. and forever.

So… How to I apply this?

- Anchor in the Word... Build your life daily on Scripture… God’s Word is the blueprint for stability.

- Trust His Timing... Even when life seems uncertain.. remind yourself that God cannot and will not fail.

- Stand Firm in Trials... When difficulties arise.. declare your trust...

“My foundation is Christ, and He won’t fail.”
