"For no one can lay any foundation other than the one already laid, which is Jesus Christ." - 1 Corinthians 3:11

"Therefore everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock. The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house; yet it did not fall, because it had its foundation on the rock." - Matthew 7:24-25

Prayer:

Father… Thank You that the only sure foundation is Jesus Christ…. In a world filled with uncertainty.. shifting values.. and fragile things.. You have given us something unshakable in Your Son…. Help us to build every part of our lives on Him… our thoughts.. our choices.. our families.. our faith.. and our future…. Let nothing in us rest on pride.. fear.. or human strength.. but on Christ alone.. the firm and eternal Rock.

Teach us not only to hear Your Word… but to obey it…. Make us wise builders who put Your truth into practice daily…. When the rains come... when the floods rise.. and when the winds of trial.. sorrow.. temptation.. and hardship beat against us.. keep us standing…. Strengthen our faith so that we will not be moved… because our lives are founded on Jesus.
