4-30-2026 | Don't Let Fear Control You – Let God Lead You

"For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind." - 2 Timothy 1:7

Fear is loud…. It screams worst-case scenarios and whispers lies that make us doubt ourselves... and even doubt God's promises.

Fear tells us we're not enough... that we’ll fail… that we should play it safe and stay in the shadows.

But here’s the truth:

“Fear is a liar.”

It doesn’t come from God…. Scripture makes that clear….

God doesn't lead His children by fear... He leads by peace.. truth.. and love.

·      While fear paralyzes… God empowers.

·      While fear makes us retreat… God calls us to step forward in faith.

·      When fear clouds our vision… God gives clarity and direction.

There will be moments in life where fear tries to take the wheel... uncertainty about the future… anxiety over provision… fear of rejection or failure.

But when those moments come… we must choose who leads us… fear or God.

“Letting God lead means trusting Him when we can't see the whole path…. It means stepping out like Peter onto the water... eyes fixed on Jesus... not the storm…. It means believing that even if we feel afraid… we don’t have to act on that fear... we can move forward anyway... anchored in God’s truth.”
