5-25-2026 | God Can Still Fix It

“I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten…” - Joel 2:25 

  We’ve all had moments where we look back and think... “I really messed that up.” ... Whether it’s a broken relationship.. a poor decision.. or a season where we drifted far from God... the weight of regret can feel crushing... Shame whispers… “You’ve ruined it beyond repair.... There’s no coming back from this.” 

***But here’s the truth... God’s specialty is redemption. *** 

  From cover to cover... the Bible is full of people who made colossal mistakes... yet God stepped in... picked up the broken pieces... and turned their story into something beautiful. 

- Moses murdered a man and fled into the desert... but God called him back to lead Israel out of Egypt. 

- David committed adultery and tried to cover it up... yet God restored him and used him as a man after His own heart. 

- Peter denied Jesus three times... but Jesus later commissioned him to feed His sheep and become a pillar of the early church. 

  “Our failures are real... but they are never final in God’s hands... His grace is greater than our mistakes... He doesn’t just forgive.... He rebuilds.. restores.. and renews.” 

  So how do I apply this to my life???... 

- Bring it to God.... Don’t hide your failures... Confess them... God already knows... and He’s waiting to bring healing where you’ve carried shame. 

- Trust His ability... You may not see a way to fix what’s broken... but He does…. Remember... He is the Creator and He can make beauty out of ashes. 

- Walk in hope... Refuse to let regret define you... Instead.. let God’s promise of restoration shape your future.
