Luke 7:47 says…

"I tell you, her sins… and they are many… have been forgiven, so she has shown me much love. But a person who is forgiven little shows only little love."

In this verse Jesus addresses the transformative power of forgiveness…. He speaks of a woman…  often identified as a sinner who approaches Him with deep humility and love

Her actions are a great reminder that the recognition of our own brokenness can lead to profound gratitude and love toward God.

Consider your own life and the weight of your sins

How often do we underestimate the depth of our need for forgiveness?

Like the woman we may come to Jesus burdened by our past but His grace is sufficient to lift us from our shame.

“The more we acknowledge our need for forgiveness… the more profound our response of love will be.”

How can you express love in response to the forgiveness you’ve received?

Perhaps it’s through acts of kindness serving those in need or simply sharing the message of hope with others.

“Let your gratitude overflow into actions that reflect the love you have experienced.”
