5-8-2026 | Fear Doesn't Stand a Chance with Jesus

My life verse is Isaiah 41:10 - "So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand." 

Fear can often loom large… casting shadows over our hearts and minds…. It whispers lies of inadequacy.. uncertainty.. and doubt.. tempting us to retreat into the safety of our comfort zones.  

But as followers of Christ… we are reminded that fear has no power when we stand firm in our faith. 

“When we lean on Jesus… we invite His strength into our lives.” 

He is the light that dispels darkness… the voice that calms the storm… and the anchor that steadies our souls.  

Remember Peter… who stepped out onto the water with Jesus…. It was only when he took his eyes off Christ that fear began to sink him…. But Jesus reached out… lifting him from the waves. 

Today I pray that we will choose to focus on the One who is greater than our fears….  

Reflect on the promise of Isaiah 41:10…  

“God is with us…. He strengthens us and holds us up…. In moments of anxiety… we can pray.. meditate on His Word.. and remind ourselves of His faithfulness.”
