"God is our refuge and strength, always ready to help in times of trouble. So we will not fear when earthquakes come and the mountains crumble into the sea." - Psalm 46:1-2

In a world filled with uncertainty and chaos… Psalm 46:1-2 offers a profound reassurance...

“God is our refuge and strength.”

This means that in our moments of distress… we have a safe haven where we can find solace and support…. God isn't just a passive protector… He is actively present… ready to assist us in our struggles.

When faced with the metaphorical earthquakes of life… be it personal crises.. loss.. or overwhelming anxiety… our instinct may be to fear.

Yet… this passage encourages us to shift our focus from our circumstances to the constant… steady and unwavering presence of God…. The imagery of mountains crumbling into the sea serves as a reminder that even the most stable and strong aspects of our lives can be shaken.

However… within this turmoil… we are called to trust….

Our fears may rise… but God’s strength is greater….

He invites us to lean into Him… to seek refuge in His love and faithfulness.
