6-23-2026 | If You Knew Jesus Was Coming Back Today
"Therefore you also must be ready, for the Son of Man is coming at an hour you do not expect." - Matthew 24:44
Imagine for a moment that today is the day….
The skies part… and the sound of a trumpet fills the air….
Jesus is coming back….
How would your life change in that instant?...
Would you find yourself rushing to check off your to-do list… or would you pause to reflect on the deeper implications of His return?
If we truly believed that Jesus could return today… our priorities might shift dramatically….
We often get caught up in the mundane… work.. social media.. and daily routines….
But how would our focus change if we knew we had limited time?....
Perhaps we would invest more in relationships… reaching out to loved ones… and sharing the Gospel.
Would we let go of grudges and extend forgiveness?
The knowledge of Christ’s imminent return should instill a sense of urgency in our hearts…. We are called to be His hands and feet… sharing love and hope with those around us…
Would you find yourself more eager to serve others.. to volunteer.. or to pray for those in need?
Knowing that Jesus could return today might lead us to deepen our relationship with Him….. Are there prayers left unspoken… questions left unasked?... Spend time in worship… dive into scripture… and seek His presence…. Imagine how your heart would fill with love and anticipation… knowing that the King of Kings is coming back for you.
If Jesus were to return today… Would you feel confident in how you’ve been living?
This moment can serve as a wake-up call to assess our authenticity…. Are we living out our faith genuinely?... Are there areas of our lives where we feel disconnected from Him?... Let this be a time of repentance and renewal… a chance to align our actions with our beliefs.
Finally… remember that His return is not something to fear but a promise of hope…. For those who believe… His coming signifies the fulfillment of all things….
