“Husbands, love your wives, as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her.” - Ephesians 5:25

Whoever wants to become great among you must be your servant.” - Mark 10:43

Be watchful, stand firm in the faith, act like men, be strong. Let all that you do be done in love.” - 1 Corinthians 16:13–14

Theres a kind of masculinity” the world sells thats loud... brittle... and hungry for control…. It confuses domination with leadership... emotional shutdown with strength... and intimidation with courage…. It may look powerful… but it leaves a trail of fear behind it.

“Biblical masculinity does not need to be harsh to be holy.”

Look at Jesus…

He was the strongest man who ever lived… and He never used His strength to crush anyone…. He used it to carry a cross…. He was firm without being cruel... bold without being boastful...  fearless without being prideful…. He didnt perform masculinity… He embodied love.

“The clearest mark of a man in Scripture is not how much he can demand… but how much he can give.”

Ephesians 5:25 doesnt tell a husband to rule his home.”… It tells him to lay down his life.

  • Thats not toxicity… thats sacrifice.

  • Thats not control… thats covenant.

  • Thats not swagger… thats servant-hearted strength.

The Kingdom doesnt call men to be unfeeling… it calls men to be redeemed….

The goal isnt a man who feels nothing…. The goal is a man whose feelings dont drive the car.

“When a man is surrendered to Jesus… something beautiful happens… his strength becomes safety for others…. People can breathe around him…. His wife isnt walking on eggshells…. His children arent bracing for impact…. His friendships dont feel like competition…. He becomes a refuge... not a storm.”

Biblical masculinity is forged when a man decides… I will let Jesus lead me before I try to lead anyone else.

“The strongest men are not those who never fall… they are those who keep returning to the feet of Christ.”
