“Be still, and know that I am God! I will be honored by every nation. I will be honored throughout the world.” – Psalm 46:10

Life often feels loud There are pressures… unanswered prayers uncertainty and moments when fear tries to overpower faith…. Yet in the middle of chaos God speaks a simple but powerful command:

Be still.

Being still does not mean giving up….. It means surrendering control to the One who already holds tomorrow in His hands….

God calls us to quiet our anxious thoughts release our striving and rest in His presence….. When we stop trying to carry every burden ourselves we begin to recognize that He is faithful.. sovereign.. and near.

Psalm 46 reminds us that even when the earth shakes and mountains crumble God remains our refuge and strength. The same God who rules the nations also watches over your life with perfect love….

Your storm may feel overwhelming but it is not greater than His power.

Today take a moment to slow down…. Breathe deeply…. Lay every fear worry and unanswered question before the Lord. In the stillness you will discover peace that circumstances cannot steal.

God is not asking you to figure everything out…. He is asking you to trust Him.

Prayer:

Heavenly Father Teach me how to be still before You. Quiet the noise in my heart and calm every anxious thought within me. When fear rises and uncertainty surrounds me help me remember that You are God faithful.. powerful.. and always in control…. I surrender my burdens to You today…. Strengthen my faith where it has become weak and fill my heart with Your peace that passes all understanding. Remind me that I do not have to strive endlessly because You are fighting battles I cannot see…. Help me rest in Your presence and trust Your timing…. May my life bring honor to You and may others see Your strength and goodness through me…. In Jesus’ name Amen.
