8-13-2026 | God Is Not Anxious About Your Situation
Psalm 46:1 says... “God is our refuge and strength, always ready to help in times of trouble.”
There are moments when life feels like a pileup of unanswered questions… finances, relationships, health, direction…. From our perspective… the weight can feel crushing…. Yet Scripture consistently reveals a God who rules without strain…. He does not rush.. scramble.. or react…. He reigns!!!
When God looks at what troubles you.. He is not sweating over it…. He is not asking how it will work out…. He already knows the end from the beginning…. Your problem did not catch Him off guard.. and your future is not fragile in His hands.
“His calm is not indifference… it is sovereignty.”
In the middle of worry… God does not first say.. Fix it…. He says.. Seek Me... Jesus’ words are direct and deeply comforting…
Matthew 6:33 ESV - “But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.”
Notice the order… God does not ask you to minimize your needs… He asks you to reorder your focus….
“When you put Him first His will.. His ways.. His character… you step out of the exhausting role of provider and into the peace of trusting the Provider.”
Putting God first means…
Choosing trust over control
Obedience over shortcuts
Worship over worry
It is a decision to say…“God, You are my source, not my circumstances.”
Seeking God’s righteousness is about alignment.. not perfection…. It means living with a heart that says.. “I want to do this Your way, even when it costs me comfort.”… Righteousness positions your life under God’s covering.. wisdom.. and provision.
When your life aligns with His righteousness.. you stop striving to make things happen and start resting in what God is already doing…. You trade anxiety for assurance.
“I’ve Got It From Here”
This is the quiet promise behind Jesus’ words…. When you put God first.. He takes responsibility for the rest…. Not always on your timeline…. Not always in the way you expect…. But always with faithfulness.
God is saying to you today… “You seek Me… You walk with Me… You trust Me… I’ve got it from here.”
“What you cannot carry… He already holds... What you cannot solve... He already understands…
