8-19-2026 | Jesus Defeated Hell and The Grave

“He is not here: for he is risen, as he said.” - Matthew 28:6 

There are moments in life when sorrow feels heavier than words... when the night seems endless... and when hope appears to have been sealed away behind a stone... Easter speaks directly into those moments with a triumphant.. eternal cry…  

Hallelujah… Jesus defeated hell and the grave! 

The cross was not the end of the story… The blood that was shed was not spilled in vain… The body that was wrapped and laid in a borrowed tomb did not remain there.  

Jesus walked out of the grave in power..  in glory.. and in victory….  

What no man could do… what no army could stop…  what no darkness could hold…  

Jesus conquered completely!!! 

The resurrection is not merely a beautiful ending to a painful story…. It is the declaration that Jesus is exactly who He said He is…. The Son of God… The Savior of the world… The Lamb who was slain and… The King who rose again…. 

His victory was personal…. He did not rise only to display power… He rose to redeem hearts... restore hope... and bring dead things back to life.  

He rose for the broken... the weary… the ashamed… the wandering… and the wounded…. 

Because Jesus defeated death… we do not have to live in fear…. Because Jesus defeated hell… we do not have to remain in bondage…. Because Jesus rose… despair does not get the final word.  

So today… Stand in the light of this holy.. happy truth….  

Jesus is alive….  

The tomb is empty….   

The curse is broken….  

Redemption is finished….  

Mercy has won…. 

Grace has triumphed….  

Heaven has come near…. 

His victory is forever!!! …..  Hallelujah… You are alive forevermore!!!
