8-31-2026 | His Strength Is Perfect

“My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.” - 2 Corinthians 12:9.  

We spend a lot of energy trying to be strong…. Strong enough to keep going…. Strong enough to hold it together…. Strong enough so no one sees the cracks. 

But God never asked us to be strong on our own…. In fact… Scripture tells us something upside-down and deeply freeing…  

“God’s strength doesn’t just show up in our weakness… it is perfected there….  Not improved... Not assisted... 

Perfected!!! 

“Our weakness is not a liability to God... It is the doorway.” 

When Paul pleaded with God to remove his thorn.. God didn’t give him relief… He gave him revelation… 

“My grace is sufficient.”  

In other words…  

“What I give you is enough even when what I remove is nothing.” 

 God was teaching Paul (and us) that dependence is not defeat. 

 “It’s alignment.” 

We often think strength looks like having answers… energy... and confidence….  

But kingdom strength looks like surrender... trust... and obedience when you don’t feel capable.  

It looks like praying when you’re tired.  

Worshiping when you’re discouraged.  

Showing up when you’d rather hide. 

“God never waits for you to feel strong before He works… He waits for you to be willing.” 

When you reach the end of yourself… when your plans fall short... your emotions feel thin… and your faith feels fragile… that’s not failure… That’s fertile ground for grace…. That’s where God steps in and says…  

“Now let Me show you what My strength can do.” 

So today… don’t despise your weakness…. Bring it honestly before the Lord…. Lay it at His feet without apology…. And know this with 100% certainty. 

“His strength is not only enough.” 

“It is perfect.”
