You will seek Me and find Me when you search for Me with all your heart.” -  Jeremiah 29:13

A lot of us have heard the phrase… You need to seek God.”  It sounds powerful… but also a little vague.

What does that even mean on a normal Tuesday?  Between work... kids... stress... errands... exhaustion... and distraction… how do you actually seek God every day?

Seeking God is not about becoming super spiritual overnight…. It is not about praying for three hours a day or having perfect focus every morning…. Seeking God is simply turning your heart toward Him on purpose…. It means making room for Him…. It means acknowledging that you need Him.…It means choosing… again and again… to bring your mind... your emotions... your questions... and your day into His presence.

Seeking God daily can look like this…

1. Start with honesty… not performance.

2. Open His Word… even if only for a few minutes.

“A small daily habit with a surrendered heart is better than a big emotional moment that never becomes consistent.”

3. Talk to Him throughout the day…

“Seeking God is often less about finding a perfect quiet place and more about developing a constant awareness that He is near.”

4. Be still long enough to listen…

“You may not hear an audible voice…  but God speaks clearly through Scripture... conviction... peace...  wisdom... and the gentle work of His Spirit.”

5. Obey what He shows you…

“Real seeking always leads to surrender…”

Some days your seeking will feel strong and full of faith… Other days it will feel dry and weak… But feelings do not define faithfulness…

If you keep showing up… keep praying… keep reading… keep turning your heart toward Him… you are seeking Him…. And He promises that when you seek Him with all your heart… you will find Him.

“Seeking God daily starts with making Him your first response instead of your last resort.”
