“Follow my example, as I follow the example of Christ.” - 1 Corinthians 11:1

“Let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.” - Matthew 5:16

Being a follower of Christ is never meant to be hidden or confined to a church building…. Our faith is meant to move with us… into our homes...  workplaces... schools... and everyday interactions.

“As believers… we are called to be visual... verbal... and faithful followers of Christ everywhere we go.”

People often see our faith before they hear it…. Our actions... attitudes… and reactions reveal who we belong to.

When we choose kindness over anger... integrity over compromise... and humility over pride... we visually reflect the heart of Jesus.

“The way we live can open doors that words alone never could.”

While actions are powerful… very often there are times when words are necessary…. Sharing encouragement... speaking truth in love... praying for someone out loud...  or simply sharing what God has done in our lives... gives voice to our faith.

“We don’t need perfect speeches… just willing hearts and honest words that point others to Christ.”

But….

Being a follower means more than belief…

  • It means obedience.

  • It’s choosing His ways… even when it’s uncomfortable or costly.

“When we follow Jesus daily… our lives naturally become both a picture and a proclamation of the gospel.”

“When our walk is visible… our words are sincere... and our lives are surrendered... Christ is made known…. Wherever we go… we carry His presence… and through us… others can see Him... hear Him... and be drawn to follow Him too.”
