“Though the fig tree does not bud and there are no grapes on the vines… yet I will rejoice in the Lord, I will be joyful in God my Savior.” - (Habakkuk 3:17–18)

“Rejoice always.” - (1 Thessalonians 5:16)

Life comes in seasons… some feel like springtime… fresh starts.. prayers answered quickly.. joy that spills over…. Others feel like winter… loss.. silence.. waiting.. uncertainty….

But worship isn’t meant to be seasonal… it’s meant to be steadfast.

Worship in spring (when things are going great) is easy to understand…. You’re celebrating what God is doing... But worship in winter (when things are tough) is where faith deepens…. It’s not pretending everything is fine… it’s choosing to honor God even when everything feels unfinished….

It’s saying...  “Lord, I don’t love You only for what You give me… I love You for who You are.”

The beautiful thing is… worship changes the room you’re in….   It may not change the circumstance immediately… but it changes the center.

When worship is present… fear isn’t the loudest voice anymore…..

When worship is present.. despair doesn’t get the final word….

When worship is present.. your heart remembers what your emotions may forget….

God is faithful..   God is near..   God is still God.

  •  In joy… worship becomes gratitude - “Thank You for Your goodness.”
  •  In pain… worship becomes trust - “I believe You’re still holding me.”
  •  In waiting… worship becomes surrender - “I release my timeline and cling to Your heart.”
  •  In battle… worship becomes warfare - “I praise You before I see the victory.”

  •  In loss… worship becomes love - “Even here.. You are worthy.”

“Worship doesn’t ignore reality… it interprets reality through the character of God…. And when you worship in every season… you’re declaring a truth that outlasts every feeling… God is worthy in the harvest… and God is worthy in the drought.”
